We are putting on a video workshop aimed at small organizations that want video content for their websites or social media. Green Eye Coop is sponsoring this first one, and many more, we hope.
Three hour workshop
It’s a practical three hour workshop and at the end you’ll have done everything you have to make a slick multi-shot 30 second promo complete with transitions, titles, cutaways, the works.
Here are the skills you’ll have by the end
- Concept development
- Video recording
- Audio basics
- Video editing
- Title creation
Many organizations are doing a lot of good work but they are not recording it in a way that has impact with the general public or their own supporters. Some claim they don’t have the budget for it, but the fact is that they could be doing it with the devices they have in their pockets.

Community Mirror We are putting one on in Petitcodiac for Green Eye Coop in support of their Community Mirror initiative, a project to put video screens around the community to inform everyone about what’s going on in the area.
The 30 second format is designed to comply with the Community Mirror’s technical requirements. In other words, you’ll know what you have to make your videos and slideshows ready to air. But you can put them anywhere on social media such as Facebook and YouTube.
Our first workshop:
- February 25, 2016, 6 pm to 9 pm
- Maritime Motorsport Hall of Fame in Petitcodiac
- General $83.40
